Day 8 of #ultimateyou30daychallenge

Day 8 was yesterday’s challenge and it was “Get 8 hours of sleep”.   LMAO!

8 hours of sleep?  Like, all at once?  You’re kidding right?  LOL

I have a 7 month old who needs a middle of the night feed, a 7 year old who often climbs into our bed in the middle of the night and a cat who’s maniac friends like to sing songs every other night.  I would LOVE to get 8 hours of solid, none interrupted sleep!  Maybe that will happen in about 7 years?

 

Also, where must one find the time to get 8 hours of sleep?  I get up at 05h30 in the morning to get ready for work, so that would mean going to sleep by latest 21h30.  I takes me about 30 minutes to switch off and actually fall asleep, so I should be in bed by 21h00.  hahahahaha.  Logan is sometimes up till 20h30 / 20h45, depending on how determined he is to NOT go sleep.

 

Hubby and I have a good routine of taking turns with the middle of the night feeds and we are very VERY lucky Nathan only wakes up once a night.  We also alternate on weekends, so Saturdays I get to sleep in a bit and Sundays he gets to sleep in a bit.  I still get woken up though, but it’s really awesome to know I can just roll over and go back to sleep at least once a week.
